Carlos and Emily met while working on community development projects in the beautiful mountains of Guatemala. Both passionate about cultivating and inspiring change, they spent several years partnering together with non-profit organizations throughout Central America. From education and feeding programs to school and home construction projects, and even child protection initiatives and grassroots healthcare support, they have done it all. Their love for their home countries of Canada and Guatemala pulls them back and forth between the two. Together with their young son, they split their time between the endless pine forests of northern Ontario and the towering volcanoes of the Antigua area.
As the needs of our world change and grow, Carlos and Emily searched for new ways to support non-profits in their mission to change the world. That’s how Equilibrio came to be – a business dedicated to empowering non-profits in their work.
At the heart of Equilibrio is a commitment to you. For Carlos and Emily, this is more than a job; it’s their purpose. They understand the challenges that non-profit organizations face, and care about helping you achieve your goals. They want to see you supported and empowered so that your organization can grow and thrive. With their help, your impact can be strengthened and amplified, and you can continue to make a real difference in the world.
